Statement of belief

Property usage requirements:

 Alcoholic Beverages/Smoking/Controlled Substances: Alcoholic beverages, smoking, controlled substances (other than prescribed medications for those in possession) and legal recreational drugs and/or paraphernalia are not permitted on the property. Possession of the preceding is grounds for immediate removal from the property without the consideration of a refund.

Background Checks: When minors will be staying overnight, all organizations will be required to perform criminal background checks on all adults, 18 years of age and older at the time of the reservation, who will also be staying overnight on the property. Background checks must be recent, within 12 months of the reserved event date.

Biblical Human Sexuality: All persons and groups using Camp Eagle Rock must be in agreement with and not hostile to the Biblical teaching about Human Sexuality as is taught by the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

Camp Eagle Rock believes that the only scriptural marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2; I Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23)

Furthermore, Camp Eagle Rock believes that Scripture commands that there be no intimate sexual activity outside of marriage. We, also, believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one's gender by surgery or appearance. (Genesis 26:8- 10; Hebrews 13:4; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1, 6:9-10; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8)

General Policies

Adding and/or decreasing meals - I understand that I cannot decrease meals once submitted. I can add meals up to 10% more than the number listed here, but will be charged on-site an additional $15 per meal added.(Required)
Refund – I understand that once submitted there will NOT be a refund given for any reason.(Required)
This agreement may be cancelled by Camp Eagle Rock at any time without penalty if it is found that any misrepresentations have been made by the Sponsoring Organization or its representatives or if actions outside of Camp Eagle Rocks control prevent the group from attending. Actions outside of Camp Eagle Rocks control include but are not limited to: Weather related emergencies, power outages, HVAC problems, building problem such as roof leaks or damage.(Required)
I understand that my group is responsible for setting up meeting rooms in the manner that we want them set up in and that we will return the meeting rooms to the way we found them.(Required)
I understand that in my meeting room I will be provided with a television to project my computer on, 2 microphones and 2 speakers. If I want additional microphones, instruments or sound I will need to bring it with me.(Required)
I understand that groups who have participants who are acting in a dis-respectful manner or an unsafe manner while at camp will be required to remove the participant from the campus. If a group has repetitive violations, Camp Eagle Rock reserves the right to remove the entire group from campus without issuing any form of a refund.(Required)
Guest room check-in time is after 4:00pm on the arrival date and check-out time not later than 10:00 am on departure date unless previously arranged in writing (guest may stay on property until 1:00 p.m. but must vacate their rooms by 10:00 a.m. for cleaning.(Required)
I understand that my group only as access to the buildings that we have RENTED and that the eagles lodge meeting area is designated as a “shared space” for meals. I further understand that areas such as the pools, gaga ball, 9 square, volleyball, game room and so on are shared space areas and that if I want exclusive access to these areas I must rent the entire camp.(Required)
I understand that Camp Eagle Rock requires that all guests comply with all state and federal requirements regarding the sale of materials, books, tapes, and apparel on its premises. It is the Sponsoring Organization/Group’s responsibility to obtain written permission prior to the retreat from Camp Eagle Rock before engaging in the sale of books, tapes, apparel, or materials of any kind. The sale of merchandise competitive with Camp Eagle Rock merchandise is prohibited. The Sponsoring Organization/Group agrees to respect the beliefs of Camp Eagle Rock and the Assemblies of God denomination as set forth in their Tenets of Faith, and will do nothing by word or act that is contrary to the beliefs of Camp Eagle Rock or the Assemblies of God, or which will in any way detract from the testimony of the ministry of Camp Eagle Rock. The Group agrees to abide by the guidelines described on this agreement, the Camp Eagle Rock website and those posted on the grounds. The Group leader accepts full responsibility for communicating all guidelines, rules and policies of Camp Eagle Rock to the participants and will follow through to ensure compliance. The Sponsoring Organization/Group agrees to submit a planned program, including schedules, activities, arrival and departure times, facility requests, and recreational requests not less than three (2) weeks preceding the arrival date. If requests are not submitted by this time, the Group understands that Camp Eagle Rock may not be able to schedule certain activities requested and will therefore be subject to a schedule determined by Camp Eagle Rock staff.(Required)
I understand that in consideration of the rental of the recreational facilities and equipment of Camp Eagle Rock, the lessee (Organization renting the facility) releases the Lessor (Camp Eagle Rock) of liability from or arising out of the use of the leased premises, including but not limited to, swimming pool activities, indoor and outdoor sports, basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, broom hockey, cycling, hiking, rope course, baseball, softball, skateboarding, water balloon equipment, shooting events, archery events, showers and bath facilities and all other necessary or related activities and equipment in connection therein. Lessee, and members of the Lessee’s group, shall be permitted to use all such recreational facilities and equipment at the person’s own risk. With the knowledge, understanding and agreement that the Lessor shall be exempt from liability for injuries to any person or property on or about such recreational facilities and that the Lessee, and members of the Lessee’s group, herby release the Lessor from any and all liability for damages which may be sustained or incurred by Lessee, or members of the Lessee’s group, resulting from use of such recreational facilities or equipment on or about the leased premises. The Lessee, or members of the Lessee’s group, further herby agree not to file a lawsuit against the lessor at any time for or on account of any claim for personal injuries, death, or property loss, arising or resulting from use of any such recreational facility or equipment on or about the leased premises. The lessee agrees to be responsible for any and all damages caused by any member of the group under supervision of such lessee. The lessor shall not be required to provide a lifeguard a the pool nor shall lessor be required to provide supervision for any recreational activities, facilities or equipment engaged in or used by lessee, or members of the lessee’s group, and the lessee herby agrees to provide its own supervision for the group under the control of the lessee.(Required)
I understand that EVERY MEMBER of my group will be required to sign a liability waiver for Camp Eagle Rock before they can enter the property.
I understandt that adding meals is an extra cost.
I understand that linens are not provide.
